I grew up outside of a small rural town in Michigan on a farm and graduated from a high school that had less students than Powell! I received my B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2004. After graduation, I moved to Colorado to complete my graduate work at the University of Colorado at Denver. I obtained my Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology in 2007. I have had the pleasure of working with teenagers in residential treatment, alternative schools, charter schools and public schools where I have worked with students in a one on one setting, in groups, milieu setting and in testing sessions.
I am excited for the 2008-2009 school year where I will get to work with amazing staff and student at Powell!
