Attention Parents of 6th grade students:

Colorado ranks fifth of all states in the country with Pertusis (better known as whooping cough). The CDC recommens all 11 to 12 year old students receive a dose of Tdap routinely. In Colorado, Tdap vaccine is now REQUIRED FOR ALL 6TH GRADERS.

We are requesting this requirement be completed no later than December 13, 2007. At that time, if the immunization requirement is not completed, the student will be suspended (C.R.S. 25-4-903) until the immunization has been obtained.
